From the moment we were born, we have been conditioned which resulted in us being more and more disconnected from our intuition. - Or should we call it HIGHER SELF?

For centuries intuition, especially FEMALE INTUITION was discounted, even forbidden. You would be killed for following and acting upon your intuition if you shared it with someone.

As a result, acknowledging and acting upon our INTUITION was kind of beaten out of us!

Only since the beginning of this millennia, intuition has gained the respect it deserves and more and more people are intrigued about the messages they are getting from their Higher Selves.
But do we really always act upon our intuition or are we still discounting it?

It happens to the best of us that sometimes we don’t listen, me included.

For example, about a week ago I had a gentle reminder to ALWAYS stop and listen to the knock of intuition on my shoulder, no matter how busy and distracted I might be:

That day, my children came home from their Christmas vacation and as I was rushing out the door on my way to work, I questioned whether I should leave the garage door opener somewhere hidden – just in case.

As I had already a busy morning, trying to get everything done before going to work, I discarded the thought of leaving it, wondering why I should do that.

3 hours later I am getting a message from my daughter asking if I was at home as they forgot to take the house key with them. So, in the end they had to get into the house through one of the windows that I had left open.

Get the point? Had I acted upon the hint of my Higher Self, I could have saved my children the worry of how to get into the house in the first place and also kind of prevented them from having to ‘break into their own home’.

When or how did you discredit the knock of your intuition and what were the consequences?
